I lost about $100K on this project, and it took a tremendous amount of
my time fiddling with the truck itself, dealing with drivers, and
debugging the LED display panel, which was not designed to be mounted
on the back of a truck. Putting an Internet-connected TV on a truck
will happen. We were just a bit ahead of the curve.
I also walked away with the knowlege that I can only manage
people who can manage themselves. I didn't want to manage
a sales force. Sales is non-scalable. It has to be automated
for me to enter the business, or I have to have a dedicated
entprepreneur/partner who has much passion for sales as I
do for software.
